Police in Peel Region are searching for a missing three-year-old boy who they say is “vulnerable” and may be non-verbal.
The boy, named Zaid, was last seen in the area of Erindale Park at 6:20 p.m. Thursday, Peel police said in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
He’s described as having a thin build, short dark afro, wearing a yellow shirt with red writing on it, black pants and no shoes or socks.
Firefighters said Thursday night that they had joined the search for the boy in the park.
“Our thoughts are with the child’s loved ones at this difficult time,” Mississauga Fire said on X.
Anyone who sees the boy is asked to call 911 immediately.
