Man dead in single-vehicle crash in King City: York police

A man is dead after a single-vehicle collision in Township of King, roughly 60 kilometres north of Toronto, York Regional Police say.

A man is dead after a single-vehicle collision in Township of King, roughly 60 kilometres north of Toronto, York Regional Police say.

Officers were called to 17th Sideroad and 11th Concession at around 7:44 p.m. on Saturday.

When emergency crews arrived, they found a black Honda sedan on its roof, with a lone occupant trapped inside the vehicle. Investigators say the collision happened on the stretch of the road that is in a remote area.

Despite life-saving measures, the 33-year-old Vaughan man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Any witnesses who were in the area at the time of the collision or may have DashCam footage are asked to contact police.
