A Whitby family is devastated after their 14-year-old son was found strangled and near death from merely sitting in their vehicle while they shopped at the Oshawa Centre Aug. 16.
After hanging on for life for five days, Subhan Mareer died at around 11:30 a.m. when taken off life support by his family on Wednesday.
