Pedestrian dead after collision in Brampton: Peel police

One man is dead after he was struck by a vehicle near Mississauga Road and Williams Parkway in Brampton on Thursday.

Driver remained on scene, police say

A pedestrian is dead after a collision in Brampton Thursday morning, Peel police said.

Police said officers were called to a crash near Mississauga Road and Williams Parkway around 7 a.m.

The pedestrian, a man in his 20s, died after they were struck by a vehicle, police said. Initially, officers did not believe the collision would be fatal.

The driver remained on scene.

Officers advise commuters to use alternate routes while they investigate.
