Three Toronto chefs — all in their 20s — might just be some of this city’s brightest culinary talent. The trio will be competing next month in the Canadian finals of the S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy Competition, a global showcase that aims to find the best chefs between 18 and 30 years old from 15 regions around the world.
There are 10 Canadians vying for one spot in the international final, and three from Toronto: 23-year-old Anthony Huynh, 26-year-old Harun Younussi and 29-year-old Mary Yap.
