A woman and three children are injured after they were struck by a vehicle in Etobicoke on Wednesday, Toronto police and paramedics say.
The woman suffered critical injuries, while the children, ages five years, two years, and six months, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, according to Toronto Paramedic Services.
Paramedics said the woman and children were all taken to a trauma centre.
Police said the collision happened at Islington and Orrell avenues, north of Dundas Street W. Officers were called to the scene at about 6:10 p.m.
The driver remained on the scene, according to police.
Roads are closed in the area as police continue to investigate.
