The Toronto police board is set to discuss what one member calls the “gravely serious” claim by a Frank Stronach complainant that she never heard back from Toronto police after she went to them in 2015 to report an alleged sexual assault by him — nearly a decade before another police service charged him with raping her.
In an interview, Toronto city councillor and police board member Shelley Carroll said the seven-person civilian board would raise during its in-camera meeting Tuesday the report, first published in the Star, that one of the 13 alleged victims of the billionaire businessman reported his alleged sexual assault to Toronto police in 2015 but says she never heard back.
