Police are asking for the public’s help to find a woman wanted in a rental fraud scam.
Between June and August, 2023, a woman advertised Toronto apartments for rent online. After multiple victims paid their deposits for apartments advertised, they would be told that the apartments were no longer available, Toronto police said in a news release.
