Drivers have enjoyed the bottoming out of gas prices for about the past half-year, but this will likely come to an end this month now that the presidential election in the United States is over, an energy analyst predicts.
Dan McTeague, president of Canadians for Affordable Energy, says gas prices could rise by five to seven cents per litre in November, with drivers already feeling the first two pennies of that rise as prices rose Wednesday, Nov. 6. He expects most of the increase to arrive near the end of the month.
