Four people are in hospital after a police chase in Scarborough early Friday morning.
Toronto police attempted to stop a vehicle at Bellamy Road and Lawrence Avenue just before 5 a.m. The suspects then fled from officers in the vehicle
The vehicle was then involved in a collision and one person was found suffering from gunshot wounds. They were taken to hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.
Three other suspects fled the scene but were located three hours later at McNicoll and Midland avenues. They were taken into custody and treated at a hospital for minor injuries.
A firearm was also allegedly recovered.
An update from police is expected at 12:30 p.m.
