Police have arrested an 80-year-old Toronto man after antisemitic graffiti was found in Yorkdale Shopping Centre over a two-month time span.
According to police reports and Yorkdale’s spokesperson Adrienne Simic, public washrooms in the mall were vandalized between Jan. 20 and Mar. 26. The graffiti was determined to be antisemitic and is being investigated as a suspected hate-motivated offence, police said.
