Subway service is delayed on nearly two-thirds of Line 1 in Toronto due to signal issues.
As of 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, there was no service between the St. George and Finch stations, the transit agency said on X, formerly Twitter.
Shuttle buses have been ordered.
There’s currently no estimated time of when service will be restored as workers continue to investigate the cause of the shutdown, according to a TTC spokesperson.
Service is still running as normal north of the St. George station, the spokesperson said.
