Victim rushed to hospital after shooting in Toronto’s east end

One person was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after being shot in Toronto’s east end Sunday evening. 

Shooting happened Sunday evening near Danforth Avenue and Jones Avenue

One person was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after being shot in Toronto’s east end Sunday evening. 

Police say the shooting happened near Danforth Avenue and Jones Avenue just before 7 p.m. 

Officers found one victim who had been shot and arrested another person at the scene. 

As of 7:30 p.m., Jones Avenue was closed to traffic as police carried out their investigation.
