No injuries were reported after a fire broke out at a North York house for the second time in less than two weeks.
Toronto Fire told CP24 that crews were called to 162 Upper Canada Drive, near Bayview Avenue and Highway 401, just before 3 a.m. for a two-alarm fire.
When they arrived, crews encountered a fully involved house fire. They initiated an exterior attack, and the fire has been extinguished.
Toronto Fire said crews were not able to do an interior search due to the extensive damage.
No one has been reported injured, and the house appears to have been vacant at the time, Toronto Fire said.
The cause, origin and circumstances of the fire are unknown.
Toronto Fire said it was too early to tell if the incident was suspicious.
Crews were at the same address on Nov. 29 for reports of a fire in the roof. The occupants of the house were able to evacuate.
Six people were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
