4 tasty non-alcoholic drinks to get in Toronto this holiday season

When it comes to stocking the fridge with non-alcoholic drinks during the holiday party season, consider some non-alcoholic wines and beers as a step up from the usual sodas and sparkling waters. I like how the bitter, tannin-rich flavour of alcohol cuts through rich and fatty holiday foods, and it’s a more grown-up and less sugary than hot chocolate, but after one regular beer or glass of wine, my face turns as red as Rudolph’s nose, and I’m ready for bed. Luckily, in recent years, the non-alcoholic beer and wine market has grown substantially — we now have entire stores devoted to it — as retailers and breweries are catching on that though not everyone drinks alcohol, people still want something special at a party. There are excellent options out there and here are four of my favourites.
