Lawsuits alleging sex abuse at elite Ontario summer camp are resolved by ‘mutual agreement’

A settlement has been reached in a pair of lawsuits that alleged sexual assaults were committed against two anonymous plaintiffs at an elite Ontario summer camp. 

The lawsuits — filed last year by plaintiffs listed only as J. Doe No. 1 and J. Doe No. 2 — named Kilcoo Camp in Mindon, Ont., and longtime camp director David (Lub) Latimer as defendants over incidents that allegedly happened in the 1990s and 2000s.
