A man facing terror charges is now accused of war crimes — including murder and mutilation offences: court documents

A man facing terror charges for allegedly plotting a Toronto attack with his son in support of the Islamic State is now accused of unprecedented war crimes charges, including for murder and mutilation, court documents show. 

Ahmed Eldidi, 62, appeared in court on Monday on four charges under Canada’s Crimes Against Humanity and War Crime Act  exceedingly rare offences alleged to date back nearly a decade, prior to his arrival in Canada.
