3 men wanted after Pickering business set on fire twice in one month

Two fires at a business in Pickering in May have police on the lookout for three suspects wanted for arson.

Durham police say that, back on May 8, officers responded to a fire at Bay Ridges Market on Krosno Boulevard near Liverpool Road just after 3 a.m.

They say a person had broken the glass to the front door of the building and poured a flammable substance on the floor. The suspect ignited the substance before fleeing, according to police.

About a week and a half later, on May 19, officers returned to the market at 5 a.m. after several people broke in and started another fire.

No injuries were reported as a result of either arson.

Durham Region Police are now looking for three men in connection to both fires.

Police say the first suspect is described as Black with a slim build and was wearing a mask, Nike brand hoodie, pants and shoes that were all black.

The second is also described as a Black man with a slim build. Police say he was wearing a black Nike brand hoodie, black pants, long white socks, black shoes and white gloves at the time of the arson.

A third person is described as a Black man with a medium build wearing an all-black outfit consisting of a puffer jacket, hoodie, pants and black and white shoes.
