Former Brampton Coun. Grant Gibson, who represented the downtown area for nearly three decades, has died. He was 71.
Gibson was first elected to council in 1991 following the death of his father Chris. Gibson didn’t seek re-election in Wards 1 and 5 in 2018, following eight terms in office.
