Toronto police investigate Etobicoke stabbing that seriously injured victim

Toronto police are investigating a stabbing that took place on Monday afternoon in Etobicoke.

Officers were called to Islington Avenue and Bloor Street West at around 3:52 p.m. and found an 18-year-old man in the area with a stab wound.

He suffered serious, but non life-threatening injuries.

It’s not clear at this point what prompted the violence.

The suspect is described as a white male, wearing a beige hoodie, black pants and a white face mask.
