After a relatively mild weekend, the cold weather is back in Toronto amid a 40 per cent chance of flurries Monday morning.
The temperature is currently hovering around the freezing mark and set to drop to –9 C later today. The snow is already falling in some parts of the city with local accumulations of two centimetres expected.
Cloudy conditions are set to persist throughout the day, and it will feel like -16 overnight with the wind chill.
The mercury will stay at or below the freezing point all week until Saturday, with sunny skies expected on Tuesday and Wednesday.
