A woman has been left with minor injuries after a three-vehicle crash southbound on Highway 400 at Highway 7 in Vaughan, Ontario Provincial Police say.
The woman was driving a car when she was rear-ended by a tow truck while traffic was slowing, police said in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
The car then hit another pickup truck that was hauling salt, police said.
They said the woman was airlifted to hospital.
OPP posted several photos and a video of the car on X, formerly Twitter, showing significant damage. The rear of the car is crumpled, and at least one door and the bumper are ripped off.
Northbound lanes are open and southbound lanes are expected to reopen shortly, OPP said.
