Dog stabbed multiple times in Ramsden Park, suspect wanted

A dog has been rushed to a vet hospital after being stabbed by someone in Ramsden Park.

Toronto police were called to the park in midtown near Davenport and Avenue roads just after 4 p.m. for reports of the stabbing.

The owner was walking the dog in the park when someone stabbed the dog. The dog was taken to a vet hospital with multiple stab wounds.

Police tell CityNews the suspect and dog owner did not know each other. It’s not clear what prompted the seemingly random stabbing.

The suspect is described as a Black male, six feet tall wearing a black puffy jacket, blue surgical mask, jeans and carrying two knives.
