‘Chain reaction’: 2 school buses involved in multi-vehicle crash in Mississauga: police

Two school buses were involved in what police called a chain reaction crash involving up to seven vehicles in Mississauga.

Peel Regional Police were called to the Queen Street and James Street area just before 9 a.m. for reports of a collision.

A police spokesperson tells CityNews that up to seven vehicles, including two school buses, were involved in the crash. One of the buses had students on board, but none of the children were injured.

A man and a woman were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. One of the school bus drivers was among the injured; the other was a driver from another vehicle involved in the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
