Toronto police have arrested a Brampton man in an investigation related to an alleged investment scam in which fraudsters are impersonating representatives from asset management company Schroders.
According to police, the suspects are advertising fraudulent investments on the internet by linking to fraudulent investment comparison sites that prompt users to submit their name, phone number and email address.
