Roadside Flower Market in St. Catharines is hosting its first tulip pick season. The venue offers stretching fields of blooms for you to enjoy as well as other activities including wagon rides and fire pits when weather permits, a kids zone and nature hikes which take you past a charming creek.
You’ll want to take some Insta-worthy photos by the tractors, two seater bike, old cars, giant wooden shoe and windmill, which are located throughout the field.
According to the venue, accessibility was a priority for the farm. The rows are planted wide enough for strollers, walkers and wheelchairs to maneuver. The drainage system helps avoid muddy situations on rainy days.
If you get hungry, you can head to the three-storey barn where you can purchase hot chocolate, coffee, tea, pop, juice and snacks. You can also visit the chickens and roosters who call the farm home.
Your ticket includes 10 tulips, with each additional stem priced at $1.
