Peel Regional Police officers say a woman has died after she was found with stab wounds in central Mississauga Monday morning.
Officers said in a brief update on social media that they were called to the area of Whittle Road and Britannia Road East, near Hurontario Street and Highway 401, just before 9:30 a.m.
The circumstances surrounding the incident weren’t immediately clear.
Investigators were set to release an update Monday afternoon.
