A stabbing on a TTC bus in Etobicoke left three people injured Wednesday, police say, two of whom have now been taken into custody.
The two accused are 15-year-old boys, police said.
The stabbing happened on a northbound 66 Prince Edward bus in the area of Berry and Park Lawn roads, north of The Queensway, according to the transit agency. Police were called to the bus at about 5:50 p.m.
Police said on X, formerly Twitter, that they received a report of two males arguing on the bus and two males being stabbed. When they arrived, they found one male suffering from serious but non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to hospital but is in police custody.
The second male fled the bus but was located later in hospital, where he was receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
A woman also suffered minor injuries in the incident, police said Thursday.
It’s unclear if the two accused knew each other, police said.
