Police probe suspected hate-motivated attack after rocks thrown through windows at two North York synagogues

Toronto police are looking for the person who they believe threw rocks through the windows of two North York synagogues early Sunday.

Police said they’re investigating the pair of suspected hate-motivated mischief incidents that began around 3 a.m. when the suspect reportedly threw rocks through the front windows of the Pride of Israel synagogue near Bathurst Street and Dewlane Drive. The suspect then fled westbound on Lissom Crescent on a motorcycle.

Police have described the suspect as being between five-foot-seven and five-foot-nine, and who wearing a light coloured jacket and a black helmet with a visor.
