Pearson airport says some flights bound for Mexico are seeing cancellations and delays on Friday as Hurricane Beryl makes its way into the Yucatán Peninsula.
According to the Associated Press, the hurricane touched the resort town of Tulum as a Category 2 storm early Friday, ”whipping trees and knocking out power after leaving a trail of destruction and at least 11 dead across the Caribbean region.”
