A man and woman are dead after their car rolled over into a drainage ditch in Brock, Durham police say.
Around 3:20 a.m. Sunday, police were called to Thorah Sideroad, south of Regional Road 15, for the single car crash, according to a news release issued Sunday.
In an email to CBC Toronto, police say they do not know when exactly the crash happened, as the person who found the car didn’t witness it. Though evidence suggests the crash was likely a few hours before the car was found, said Sgt. Joanne Bortoluss.
The car was heading southbound when it lost control, rolled and landed in the drainage ditch, police say. The car’s roof was submerged in the water and the man and woman were found dead in the vehicle, police say.
Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact police.
