Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Toronto and the GTA on Tuesday morning, expected to linger into the early afternoon.
The weather agency issued the alert just after 8:20 a.m. stating that weather conditions are “favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and torrential rain.”
