The TTC says riders using the Yonge-University subway line should expect delays early Wednesday after service was briefly shut down between Vaughan and Finch stations.

The transit agency said the service outage was due to a “signal issue.” It lasted about 25 minutes.

It was the third time in as many days that a signal issue temporarily stopped trains on the TTC’s subway lines during the morning or afternoon commute.

More to come.
