Lakeshore East GO train service delayed after person struck

Police are investigating after a person was struck by a GO Train west of the Pickering GO station on the Lakeshore East line on Wednesday afternoon.

Police are investigating after a person was struck by a GO Train west of the Pickering GO station on the Lakeshore East line on Wednesday afternoon.

Metrolinx says train service is delayed while emergency personnel are on scene. 

“Trains cannot move through the area until a full investigation is completed,” Metrolinx says on the GO Transit website.

Trains headed eastbound from Union Station to Durham College Oshawa GO, and westbound from Durham College Oshawa GO to Union Station, are delayed.

Customers are urged to check the GO Transit website for updates.
