Police and paramedics were called to the area of Bathurst Street and Wilson Avenue just after 6:15 a.m.

Det. Sgt. Brandon Price said emergency crews performed life-saving measures, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Price said it’s unknown if the incident was “targeted,” adding that “it does seem to be isolated.”
