A man was struck and killed by a driver in North York early Monday, Toronto police say.
The collision happened around 6:10 a.m. near the intersection of Steeles Avenue W. and Weston Road, police said.
The man, in his 40s, suffered critical injuries and was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver remained at the scene, police said.
Commuters should expected road closures in the area throughout the morning.
