Mississauga crash leaves 1 dead, 2 injured

A crash involving three vehicles in Mississauga has left a man dead and two people injured, Peel police say.

A crash involving three vehicles in Mississauga has left a man dead and two people injured, Peel police say.

One of the injured is in life-threatening condition, while other person’s condition is not known.

The crash happened on Thursday night in the area of Eglinton Avenue E. and Dixie Road, police said.

Emergency personnel were called to the scene at about 9:50 p.m.

Peel paramedics said one of the injured people was extricated from a vehicle and taken to hospital.

Police said all three vehicles remained at the scene. 

The intersection was closed on Thursday night to allow officers to investigate the crash and police said it was expected to be closed for some time.
