Toronto police have identified the victim in an ongoing homicide investigation. Margoth Arriaza, 50, died at a home near Weston Road and Humber Boulevard on July 11, police said.

Toronto police have identified a woman killed in a west-end home earlier this month.

In a news release Thursday, police said Margoth Arriaza, 50, was found on July 11 with “obvious signs of trauma” at a home near Weston Road and Humber Boulevard.

Officers were called to the home around 3 p.m. for a report of a person wounded. 

Arriaza died at the scene, police said. 

No suspect information has been released.

Arriaza’s death marks the city’s 47th homicide of the year.
