Rapper Drake’s property in Toronto’s ritzy Bridle Path neighbourhood was taped off by police early Tuesday after a man was seriously injured in a shooting in the area.

Rapper Drake’s property in Toronto’s ritzy Bridle Path neighbourhood was taped off by police early Tuesday after a man was seriously injured in a shooting in the area.

The shooting happened around 2:10 a.m. ET near the corner of Bayview and Lawrence avenues, Toronto police said in a brief post on X, formerly Twitter.

Responding officers found a man badly injured and he was taken to hospital.

A suspect fled in a vehicle, police said. No descriptions of either the suspect or the vehicle were provided by police.
