RCMP to announce terror-related charges against GTA father and son

The RCMP is expected to announce terrorism-related charges against a father and son living in the GTA on Wednesday.

The RCMP is expected to announce terrorism-related charges against a father and son living in the GTA on Wednesday.

Assistant RCMP Commissioner Matt Peggs is scheduled to hold a news conference at 11 a.m. ET in Newmarket, Ont.

A media release says Peggs will “provide information on recent arrests of a father and son for their alleged terrorist activities in the GTA.”

The release does not include any further details about the pair or the charges they face.
