Suspicious death in Allan Gardens under investigation: Toronto police

Toronto police said Wednesday its homicide unit has been notified following a suspicious death in Allan Gardens.

Toronto police said Wednesday its homicide unit has been notified following a suspicious death in Allan Gardens.

Police were called to the downtown park shortly after midnight where they found an injured man who was unconscious, the service said on X, formerly Twitter. 

The man was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

He has not been named at this time, nor have police provided more specifics about the type of injuries he sustained.
