A male is dead after an overnight shooting in Etobicoke, Toronto police say.

Suspects still outstanding, investigators say

A male is dead after an overnight shooting in Etobicoke, Toronto police say.

The incident happened around 2:25 a.m. in the area of Lake Shore Boulevard W. and Long Branch Avenue, according to a post from police on X, formerly Twitter.

Officers were called about someone shot inside an apartment unit and found a male victim with injuries, upon arrival.

He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The only suspect description investigators have provided so far is that the suspects are males wearing face coverings who fled in a white sedan.
