Toronto was under a winter weather travel advisory for a second time this week with more snow in the forecast for the city Thursday night.
Lake effect snow off Georgian Bay will mean snowfall accumulations of two to four centimetres, Environment Canada said in its advisory.
“Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly. Poor weather conditions may contribute to transportation delays,” the federal weather agency said.
Peel Region and York Region were also under a travel advisory.
The temperature in Toronto was -4 C Thursday night, which means it felt like -12 with the wind chill.
Friday is expected to be -1 C with a 30 per cent chance of flurries.
