A Vaughan chiropractor was charged with sexually assaulting a patient, and York Regional Police say they believe there may be more victims.

Evan Kogon, 50, was charged this week after an alleged victim contacted investigators to report they had been sexually assaulted during an appointment late last month, police said in a news release Friday.

Kogon’s clinic operates out of a private residence in the area of Brownridge Drive and Wade Gate, according to police.

Investigators are encouraging anyone else who alleges they may have been sexually assaulted at the clinic to come forward.

“There is no statute of limitations for sexual offences and offenders can be prosecuted well after the date of the offence,” police said in the release.

Anyone with information relevant to the investigation is asked to contact York police or to leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.
