Toronto police have closed roads in the area around Toronto City Hall after an apparent explosives investigation.
Police have not confirmed a bomb threat, but the Explosives Disposal Unit was seen in the area, with a police robot examining a parked car.
Police have closed Bay Street from Dundas Street West to Queen Street West.
Employees at City Hall recieved a security alert stating:
“There is currently an active investigation [at] City Hall. Corporate Security have addressed any impacts to City Hall operations.”
No further details were immediately available.
