CHEO auctioning off 100-level Taylor Swift tickets for Toronto show

Are you ready for it?

The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) is giving Canadian Swifties one of the last chances to see The Eras Tour in Toronto by auctioning off tickets.

Taylor Swift is in the middle of a six-run show in the provincial capital, with the last three set for this Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Getting tickets to the in-demand event has been near impossible, with some fans paying hundreds, sometimes thousands, of dollars to be at the show.

CHEO is auctioning off two 100-level tickets (Section 130, Row 4) for the Nov. 23 show — the last in Toronto.

All the proceeds will support the hospital’s Kids These Days campaign to transform pediatric care.

“CHEO is adding new capacity, modernizing its facilities, and integrating real-time research into its clinical practice in order to meet the needs of its growing population of kids and families,” Steve Read, CEO of CHEO Foundation, said in an email.

The tickets will be transferred to the person with the highest bid 72 hours (three days) before the concert. The winning bidder must have a valid Ticketmaster account.

The tickets were donated by The Thistledown Foundation.
