Man found inside a Scarborough residence with a gunshot wound: police

Toronto police are investigating a shooting in Scarborough that injured one man on Saturday morning.

Officers were called to the area of Kingston Road and St. Clair Avenue East just before 9:30 a.m. for reports of “unknown trouble” inside a residence.

Upon arrival, police located a man with a gun shot wound. Officers say the man’s injuries are non-life-threatening.

According to investigators, a firearm was recovered at the scene and one person was taken into custody.

No other details were released.
