Man injured, suspect fled stabbing in Scarborough

A man has been injured from a stabbing in Scarborough on Saturday afternoon where the suspect fled the scene.

Toronto police responded to a call for a stabbing just after 1:30 p.m. in the area of Lawrence Avenue East and Galloway Road.

A male in his 30’s was stabbed and transported to hospital.

Initially, it was reported that the victim sustained serious injuries, but police later said the victim has non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the suspect fled the scene in a blue sedan.
