One man was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a stabbing in the downtown core early Thursday morning, Toronto paramedics say.
The stabbing occurred in the area of Front Street East and Tannery Road at around 3:30 a.m.
Police said the victim is believed to be in a man in his 30s.
No information has been released on possible suspects but investigators say there will be a heavy police presence in the area throughout the morning.
Police also noted that they do not believe there is a threat to public safety.
