A dreamy lakefront Nordic spa is opening near Toronto this summer and here’s a peek inside

Spa days are about to get even more magical with the arrival of this stunning new Nordic spa in Ontario. The venue is nestled on the shores of West Lake and is the first-ever lakefront Nordic spa in the province, according to a press release.

Complete with pools, a beach, saunas and more, you can totally unwind by the water while enjoying a range of treatments and facilities.

Located just over two hours from Toronto, the dreamy destination is perfect for a day trip or longer getaway.

Here’s what to know about this new spa destination, as well as a little peek inside.

Wander The Spa is a new Nordic spa opening at Wander The Resort in Prince Edward County this summer.

Situated below ground level, the secluded, 10,000 square-foot Nordic spa is surrounded by tall grass and pines. The spa features all-season facilities and is complete with outdoor heated floors.

The intimate retreat was designed for “peace and connection” and features “four distinct pools and four fire experiences, two saunas, a steam room, an exfoliation cabin, a lakeside Whisper Beach complete with cozy hammocks and napping tents, as well as massage treatments.”

“Unveiling the first-ever lakefront Nordic spa in Ontario is something we’ve been striving towards since we first walked the property more than five years ago,” Shannon Hunter, owner, Wander The Resort said in the release.

“After so much thoughtful planning, we are incredibly proud of the spa offering and design and feel it perfectly reflects the resort’s identity – a retreat in simple luxury, somewhere to unwind and connect. This completes the unique wander in and wander often experience we aim to give Prince Edward County locals and visitors.”

The spa’s lounge area will offer a wellness-forward menu by the resort’s new onsite restaurant, Gather at Wander.

Wander The Spa’s Founders Pass is currently available to purchase and includes “unlimited access to the Spa and The Beach Club; complimentary guest pass Monday through Thursday; preferred pricing for spa treatments, classes, Gather’s spa lunch menu, resort accommodations; and more.”

Day passes are also available starting at $65 for a limited time.

The exact opening date has yet to be announced, but the spa is slated to open during the summer of this year.
